Platform transparency and DSA

Information about Tiggy’s role as a tool-rental marketplace, owner status, ranking, content moderation and Digital Services Act contact points.

Tiggy’s role

Tiggy is an online marketplace and intermediary for tool rentals in Germany. The rental contract is between the renter and the owner identified in the listing. Tiggy is not the lessor, owner or possessor of the tool and remains responsible for its own statutory platform duties.

Company size and applicable duties

As of the stated date, CloverTree Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is a microenterprise with fewer than ten employees and, based on its assessment, remains below the relevant financial thresholds. The exemptions for micro and small enterprises under DSA Articles 19 and 29 may therefore apply in particular. General intermediary and hosting duties, authority orders, points of contact and a diligent notice process remain unaffected. Tiggy voluntarily offers certain safeguards and complaint functions even where not mandatory. Status is reviewed annually and after material changes.

Private and trader owners

Listings must show whether the owner acts privately or as a trader. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of this status. Where required by law or necessary for payment, safety and fraud checks, Tiggy or Stripe collects identity, contact, payment, register, tax and self-certification information. Required trader information is made clearly accessible before contract formation. Tiggy may request evidence or suspend a listing where status is uncertain.

Notifying illegal or unsafe content

Suspected illegal or unsafe content and tools can be reported to info@clovertreetech.com. A notice should contain the exact URL or listing/user ID, a reasoned explanation, available evidence, the notifier’s name and email (except where the law provides otherwise), and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and complete. Tiggy acknowledges receipt electronically and processes notices promptly, diligently, objectively and without arbitrariness. In an immediate danger, the competent police or emergency service should also be contacted.

Moderation and reasons

Tiggy may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend payouts where legally and contractually permitted, or restrict accounts where content is illegal, breaches the terms or creates material safety or fraud risk. Measures are proportionate. Affected users generally receive clear reasons stating the legal or contractual basis, scope, duration, automation used and available redress unless a legal exception applies.

Voluntary internal complaint

Whether or not legally required, users may challenge a moderation decision within six months of notice by sending the decision and reasons to support@tiggy.eu. Complaints are reviewed promptly, non-discriminatorily and not solely by automated means. Statutory judicial and out-of-court remedies remain unaffected.

Points of contact

Authority contact under DSA Article 11 and user contact under DSA Article 12: info@clovertreetech.com. Communication is available in German and English. Support and complaint contact: support@tiggy.eu.

Ranking, recommendations and advertising

Search and recommendation results may depend in particular on query and category, distance, availability for the selected period, profile and listing completeness, ratings, price and relevance. Distance, availability and search relevance generally carry the greatest weight. Tiggy does not sell paid placements at launch. If introduced, they will be clearly labelled as advertising and this information will be updated in advance. Tiggynator output may be AI-based and is explained accordingly.

Transparency reporting

Where Tiggy is legally required to publish a transparency report, it is provided on time in an easily accessible and machine-readable format. The applicability of relevant micro and small enterprise exemptions is reviewed at least annually.
