Getting started with Tiggy is quick and free:
- 1. Sign Up — Create a free account as a Client or Tasker (service provider) by clicking "Get Started".
- 2. Complete Your Profile — Fill in your details, location, and contact info. Taskers also add their services, working hours, and coverage area.
- 3. Get Verified — Upload a valid ID and connect your Stripe account for secure payments.
- 4. Start Using Tiggy — Browse providers or start receiving booking requests right away!
For Renters: Browsing, searching, and messaging is free. When you book a rental, you pay the owner's daily rental price plus Tiggy's platform fee, calculated as max(3 EUR/USD, 10% of the total rental amount). In Germany, VAT is added on top of the platform fee.
For Tool Owners: Creating an account and listing tools is free. You set your own daily price and receive the full rental price for your tools. Tiggy charges the platform fee to the renter, not the owner.
Each provider sets their own hourly rate, which is displayed on their profile. When you book a service, you'll see the estimated cost upfront based on the expected duration.
After the job is completed, the final invoice includes the actual hours worked plus any materials the provider used (itemized with quantities and unit prices).
Your payment is only authorized at booking — it's not charged until the service is successfully completed.
All providers on Tiggy must complete identity verification by uploading a valid government-issued ID. Provider profiles display their credentials, certifications, and work history.

Yes! Every provider profile includes a portfolio section where they can showcase photos from completed projects. You can also see their full work history, including:
- Number of completed jobs on Tiggy
- Star ratings across multiple categories
- Written reviews from past clients
- Skills, certifications, and experience details
Tiggy has a built-in real-time messaging system. You can message providers directly from their profile or from an active booking to discuss project details, ask questions, or coordinate schedules.
All conversations are organized within your Messages tab, and you'll receive notifications for new messages so you never miss a reply.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe, supporting major credit and debit cards. Your payment details are encrypted with bank-level security — Tiggy never stores your card information.
For services, your card is authorized at booking but only charged after the job is completed. If you need to cancel:
- More than 24 hours before: full refund
- Less than 24 hours before: 50% cancellation fee
If a provider doesn't show up, you receive a full refund plus 20% bonus credit.
